Migration

People migrate for different reasons.

But to many of them, migration has a vital meaning, a re-birth. The host society gives the migrants a great chance of building a new life and future. And in this sense, migration is a unique opportunity.

To me and my wife, migration marks a new beginning. We have plans. Our plans are based on our dreams.

It is so interesting and at the same time depressing that one nation’s dreams are such unimportant chores for another.

I mean having a good life and continuing our education and being a useful person may sound such typical wishes for people who live in Australia. But to us, it sounds like a dream.

Not that we do not have the opportunity to do them here, but the road seems so hard and the rates so high.

Moving to Perth is so important to us. I have always loved it there. But lately I have heard disappointing news. Perth does not require Industrial Engineers. And my field of education and my experience is in Industrial Engineering.

The whole migration thing looks ambiguous now.
And I am feeling blue.

I also migrated and found obstacles - no road is perfectly paved. What I did with my re-birth was the resultant between the dream and my new set of circumstances.

After for a while of being black and blue all over, I persevered and I got my dream.

Hang in there.
