EXPLOSIVE Professional Wrestling (EPW) returned to Scarborough Beach on Sunday, holding its second free event at the Scarborough Beach amphitheatre.
Beach Blast 2010 started at 2pm and provided spectators with two hours of the same electrifying entertainment seen at last year’s show.
Wrestlers who appeared at Scarborough Beach included current EPW champion, the 1.96m, 123kg “Richter” and former two-time EPW Champions Mikey, “The International Wrestling Superstar” Nicholls and Davis “The Ironman” Storm.
The main event was a “battle royal” where all wrestlers, be they heroes or heels, fought it out in the ring at the same time.
Sunday’s show was enjoyed by children and adults alike.
For many older punters at Scarborough Beach, the EPW experience was a throwback to the 1960s when professional wrestling was huge in Australia.
EPW was formed in 2001 and has held over one hundred shows throughout the Perth metropolitan area.
EPW’s next show is on Saturday April 17 at the Cyril Jackson Recreation Centre in Bassendean.
