SOPHIA Loren might not be there, but just about every other Italian beauty will be on show at Mulberry on Swan on Sunday, February 21 when the Rotary Club of Northbridge stages its annual Italian Car Day.
The entire A to Z of Italian two and four-wheel motoring will be on show, Alfa to Zagato and everything in between, in one of the most popular days on the State’s events calendar.
Now in its fifth year, it has had to change venues three times to cope with increasing crowds and will again be held at the spacious Swan Valley property.
“Last year we donated more than $20,000 to our charity, which supports homeless people,” spokesman Andrew Murray said.
“This year, being the 100th year of Alfa Romeo, we’re expecting a great turnout.
“We are also planning on getting 100 Alfas there on the day to mark the anniversary,” he said.
One of them will be a priceless 1923 Alfa Romeo RL Targa Florio.
The day, from 10am to 3pm, includes Italian cuisine, music, and trade and food fare displays.
Bellissimo!
