AFTER an eager wait, the much-loved Groovin’ The Moo regional music festival is finally coming west.
The GTM will head to Bunbury’s Pat Usher Foreshore Reserve on Saturday, May 15, offering music lovers from far and wide a one-day event of carnival and cavorting under the sun, clouds and moon in front of an outdoor double stage.
Among this year’s line-up are Aussie pop-rockers Silverchair, New York indie rockers Vampire Weekend, ARIA award-winning act Empire of the Sun, Canadian twins Tegan and Sara, gorgeous Aussie songstress Lisa Mitchell and festival mainstays Grinspoon, British India and Kisschasy.
Dave Chitty from Sunset Events said the company was thrilled to be part of the successful GTM music event in Bunbury.
“The Bunbury region has a significant youth population and is close to several country towns and cities that have limited access to contemporary music culture,” he said.
Tickets go on sale Tuesday, February 16.
